For those who want to have their own computer but don't want to bother assembling computers or seeing messy cables, one solution is to use the All-in-One (AiO) PC.

All-in-One PC combines all the main components of the computer both the processor and the graphics card behind the screen so that it becomes a single unit. This is unlike ordinary desktop PCs with separate components.

ASUS as one of the leading computer vendors has attractive AiO PC products, one of which is Vivo AiO V241IC.  I myself had the opportunity to directly use the AiO variant V241ICGT-BA541T for several weeks.

Cool Minimalist Design

In just one look, I immediately fell in love with the design ASUS chose for V241IC. The appearance is very minimalist, which makes the work table feel vacant and not crowded. Therefore this one AiO PC is easy to place anywhere.

How not, ASUS V241IC has a size that is not much different from a computer monitor in general. Without being bothered, he looks cool. For the height of the position it cannot be changed, but the tilt angle of the screen can still be slightly adjusted.

Talking about the screen, wow ... amazing. ASUS Vivo AiO V241IC has a very responsive touch screen that stretches 23.8 inches with a 16: 9 ratio and Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. What immediately caught the attention of the screen was that the bezel was very thin only 2mm with a screen-to-body ratio reaching 88%, giving the impression of having a larger and wider size every time it was seen.

The panel also uses IPS to ensure that it can be clearly seen to 178 ° viewing angles and produce bright and sharp colors. Do not stop there, ASUS also provides an excellent anti glare layer because it can eliminate the reflection of sunlight that I usually have to suffer every day.

This was further enhanced by speakers that exceeded my expectations. It should be recognized that the quality of audio produced by ASUS V241IC speakers is quite surprising because it is able to have a powerful bass, loud, and clearly heard even at maximum volume.

Suitable for Office and Multimedia

Without a doubt, ASUS Vivo AiO V241IC will be very satisfying if used as the main entertainment consumption machine at home such as watching movies in addition to office or business activities. It is clear that the charming screen will be the main attraction.

This one device also has a webcam located at the bottom of the screen. Overall the quality is better than most integrated webcams and is still appropriate for formal video calls. But it is unfortunate there is no Windows Hello support to simplify the login process.

For the input itself in my opinion is not too special with a keyboard that is still very ASUS once with key travel is quite good and the mouse that is similar to the magic mouse Apple's only just bigger and ergonomic in hand. There is no indicator of how much battery is left and the indicator light on the keyboard is not brightly lit.

About connectivity, ASUS V241IC offers a variety of ports that are quite a lot. At the back there are four USB 3.1 Gen-1 ports, an HDMI and an Ethernet RJ45 while at the bottom of the screen there is one USB 2.0 and audio combo jack port.

There is no USB Type-C port, but the port has exceeded enough for the needs of most users who choose ASUS Vivo V241IC as their main device.

Sufficient Performance for Everyday Life

The specifications of the ASUS Vivo AiO V241ICGT-BA541T that I use can be said to be more like a laptop than a full desktop PC by offering an Intel Core i5-8250U processor with speeds up to 3.4 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce 930MX 2GB graphics card. Both of these components guarantee that the performance provided is very sufficient for use in everyday life.

This is supported by the results of synthetic trials with the achievement of the value of 3,292 on PCMark 8 Work Accelerated and 1,938 on PCMark 10. The processor also received a score of 372 cb in the Cinebench R15 application which can be said as expected.

Using V241IC everyday is fairly convenient because it is quite smooth to run Office applications and activities. Especially with the exceptional screen quality that makes me very comfortable using this device for a long time.

It's just that I'm a little surprised why ASUS still chooses 1TB 5400 RPM SATA HDD storage if you see the overall specifications that are already very capable. HDD Usage is often 100% stuck, which ultimately makes the performance not optimal. This problem can be minimized by choosing one more variant that has an additional SSD.

Therefore I have to stop some default applications that run directly in the background and install all Windows Updates up to the latest version so that the use of resources is lighter and optimal according to my wishes. After doing so, the ASUS V241IC runs smoothly and disk usage is more reasonable.

RAM capacity of only 4GB may also be felt less for some people, especially the power users who have multitasking applications very much. Even so what is offered by the needs of users in general.

What if ASUS Vivo AiO V241IC was brought to play? Even though this one device is not a gaming device, it still seems capable of playing some games quite well looking at the benchmark results from 3DMark.

V241IC scores 6,832 with an average of 33-40 FPS on the Cloud Gate test while Sky Diver scores 5,349 on Sky Diver which is slightly heavier. This means that Vivo AiO V241IC can run popular games like DOTA 2 smoothly.

I even tried to play CS: GO at High graphics 1080p resolution. The results are quite satisfying with the average FPS exceeding 60 in the reliable maps such as Dust and Train.

One thing to note, the internal temperature of the V241IC is very volatile and can even reach 90 ° C when viewing from the HWMonitor application. Fortunately, until now I have not felt the impact at all to the performance and if it touches the body directly it still feels cool.

ASUS Vivo AiO V241IC is an All-in-One computer that has a very classy design, high-quality screens and speakers for multimedia, and comfort that is perfect for office workers. Almost all ASUS decisions presented in this product are in the right direction.

Indeed, there are some things that might make the power users less satisfied for the V241ICGT-BA541T variant, such as only 4GB of RAM and still using a HDD that is already starting to miss the present era. Even so this is understandable because this variant is more intended for needs that are not too heavy and the price is also relatively still affordable when looking at the overall specifications.

Even so, I can say that the performance that is owned by ASUS Vivo AiO V241ICGT-BA541T is quite good in everyday life. If I was told to choose between a laptop or an All-in-One device for my use to work, then obviously I would prefer this device from ASUS.
